Wearable Art: Unique Jewelry Brands I Love

Updated: Apr 21

I am always on the hunt for unique jewelry pieces that will elevate my outfits without breaking the bank. I’m happy to share some of my favorite small jewelry designers.

Après Ski

Whether you're into bold statements or subtle accents, there's something about their collection that feels both artistic and wearable. I discovered this brand when I was studying abroad in Barcelona and immediately fell in love with their handmade wordly-inspired designs. I purchased the Ra necklace and it quickly became my most worn everyday piece of jewelry. I love how unique each Après Ski design is and how each individual piece varies because they are handmade. A lot of their pieces remind me of Alexander Calder's work. If you're ever in Barcelona, I highly recommend checking out their studio. They have so many cool pieces to look at. Après Ski is one of those brands that feels truly special — timeless, creative, and full of personality.

sccollection

Another brand that I have quickly become quite the collector of, sccollection offers an array of vintage-inspired chunky chains, freshwater pearls, and colorful glass-blown charms. I have the Gia Gold Star Necklace — I love wearing it to accessorize an otherwise simple outfit. It instantly elevates the look. Their pieces strike the perfect balance between playful and polished, making them super easy to layer or wear on their own. I’m especially drawn to the way they mix textures and materials — it gives everything a unique, collected-over-time feel. Each piece feels like a little treasure, and I always get compliments when I wear them.

Dauphinette

My mom actually introduced me to Dauphinette after stumbling across the store in the West Village in NYC. I love the whimsical designs and pieces created using real flowers and items found in nature preserved in resin. I have the Gourmet Strawberry Earrings and love how unique they are. All of the earrings are also extremely lightweight, which for me is a huge plus. There’s something really special about wearing pieces that feel like tiny works of art — they’re conversation starters, mood boosters, and unlike anything else in my collection. If you’re ever in the city, the shop is such a fun stop — like walking into a wearable botanical dream. They also have really unique bags and other funky accessories to check out! Many of the earrings are sold as individuals, so be sure to double check whether it's a set or an individual when placing an order.

Happy shopping!

xx Patsy
